Sayyed Khamenei to Hajj pilgrims: 'Israel' out of time, Ummah rising

As the Islamic Ummah's pilgrims converged in Mecca for the Hajj season, Sayyed Mojtaba Khamenei, Leader of the Revolution and the Islamic Republic of Iran, addressed Hajj pilgrims as well as all Muslims around the world, urging them to see Hajj not only as a religious obligation but as a moment of resistance, reckoning, and victory over transgressors.

Hajj, he affirmed, is a "migration from the material to the divine, a life of monotheism, servitude to God, and rejection of all rivals set beside Him." That invitation, he stressed, belongs to every Muslim in the world, not only those who made the journey this year.

The condition of this migration, he said, was permanent remembrance of God, "ceaseless struggle" against Satan in all his manifestations, "sacrifice of deviant desires," and constant readiness to raise the banner of truth.

It was precisely this migration, he highlighted, that the people of Iran had undertaken 47 years ago. At the onset of the Islamic Revolution, answering the "Abrahamic call" of Imam Khomeini, they "cast off submission to domination, donned the ihram of worldly and eternal felicity," and set out chanting toward the light of global justice.

The weapon they carried then, and have carried ever since, was Allahu Akbar.

The weapon of 'Allahu Akbar'

With that weapon, Sayyed Khamenei declared, the Muslim people of Iran overthrew the tyrannical, client Pahlavi regime, severed US hands from the country, and "uprooted Zionist influence entirely."

With that same weapon, he added, the "zealous fighters of the Sacred Defense wrote an eight-year epic against Saddam's Baathist regime," backed by all the powers of East and West, and forced it back within its limits.

Through decades of economic siege, coups, unjust sanctions, and unrelenting political, media, and economic assault, the Islamic Republic held its course with resolve.

Allahu Akbar was also the force that bound the Islamic Ummah to the fighters of the Resistance, from Iran to Lebanon, Palestine, Iraq, and Syria, and from Africa and Yemen to Afghanistan and Pakistan. "That bond defeated ISIS, unleashed Al-Aqsa Flood, and brought the Zionist entity closer to its inevitable demise."

Victory in the war on Iran

The turning point came in June 2025, Sayyed Mojtaba stressed. Through the second (June 2025) and third (March 2026) imposed wars, the Islamic Republic delivered crushing blows to "Israel", dealt the US a sharp rebuke, and "foiled every effort to subjugate Iran," he said.

The fighters and armed forces of Islamic Iran, backed by the Resistance Front, above all in Lebanon, fought on land, in the air, and at sea, and in doing so, he explained, witnessed the fulfilment of a divine promise that those who struggle in the path of God will prevail.

That victory, Sayyed Khamenei said, was achieved in the shadow of profound loss, that of the martyrdom of Sayyed Ali Khamenei, killed at the hands of "the wretched of today's world." Yet, the Leader's martyrdom, he affirmed, did not break the Iranian people; it only galvanised them.

Their response was a resurgence that made itself felt across every arena where duty called, he said, explaining that the martyred leader's path would be carried forward and his goals pursued to their end.

Among those goals is one that the martyred leader had declared ten years ago, that "Israel" would not survive another 25 years. Sayyed Khamenei returned to that promise, saying the entity has since drawn close to the final stages of its existence.

The "cancerous tumor," he underscored, is running out of time.

Disavowal beyond the season

It is against that backdrop that the disavowal of the polytheists, a Hajj ritual in which pilgrims publicly declare their rejection of God's enemies, takes on double importance this year, with the US and the Zionist entity at the center of that rejection.

Sayyed Khamenei highlighted that the slogan "Death to America, death to Israel" is to become the circulating slogan of the Islamic Ummah and the oppressed of the world, above all its youth.

He also noted that this year's Iranian pilgrims carry a particular responsibility to "narrate the victory of the third imposed war to their Muslim brothers and sisters and plant hope in their hearts for a radiant future."

A call to the Ummah

The Iranian leader closed with a direct appeal to Islamic states and governments to pursue friendship and cooperation, saying the region has passed a point of no return.

The US, he noted, is losing ground day by day and will find no safe footing in the region, let alone a base from which to operate. "The future belongs to the Islamic Ummah and to the new Islamic civilization."

He asked pilgrims to pray for the reappearance of Imam Mahdi, sealing the address with a verse from Surat al-Nur, "Allah has promised those of you who believe and do righteous deeds that He will surely grant them succession upon the earth, just as He granted it to those before them; and that He will surely establish for them their religion which He has approved for them; and that He will surely replace their fear with security."
